Refund & Return Policy

At Buildabot, we stand behind the quality of every product we sell. If you're not satisfied, we'll make it right - subject to the conditions below.
1. Return Window
You may request a return within 7 calendar days of delivery. Requests made after this window will not be accepted unless the product has a manufacturer defect covered under warranty.
2. Eligible Return Conditions
Products are eligible for return only if they meet all of the following:
- Returned in original, unused condition with all accessories, manuals, and packaging intact.
- Not damaged due to customer misuse, improper handling, electrostatic discharge, or incorrect wiring.
- Not a consumable item (e.g., wires, jumper cables, breadboards, filament) - these are non-returnable once opened.
- Accompanied by the original order number and proof of purchase.
- Defective on arrival (DOA) or substantially different from the product described.
3. Non-Returnable Items
- Consumables and single-use items once opened.
- Software, digital downloads, or license keys.
- Products damaged due to customer error or improper use.
- Items returned after the 7-day window without prior authorisation.
- COD orders refused at delivery (may incur a restocking fee).
4. How to Initiate a Return
- Email contact@buildabot.in or WhatsApp us at +91 73894 86551 within 7 days of delivery.
- Include your order number, product name, reason for return, and clear photos/video of the issue.
- Our team will review and respond within 2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and return shipping instructions.
- Pack the product securely and ship it to our address. Customer bears return shipping costs unless the product was defective or incorrectly sent.
5. Refund Processing
- Online payments (UPI/card/net banking): Refund issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
- COD orders: Refund issued as store credit or bank transfer (NEFT/UPI) within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds are GST-inclusive - the full amount paid (including taxes) is refunded for eligible returns.
- Shipping charges paid on the original order are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
6. Exchanges
We offer exchanges for defective products or items sent in error, subject to stock availability. If the replacement product is not available, a full refund will be issued.
7. Warranty Claims
Manufacturer warranty (where applicable) is passed through to the customer. Warranty claims beyond our 7-day return window must be directed to the manufacturer. We will assist in facilitating manufacturer warranty support where possible.
